Mile High Hippie One of my best friends, Thom Merril recently stayed with Kim and I in Denver for two weeks. Thom and I have known each other for almost a decade. We spent the majority of our friendship playing music live, drinking, and hanging out. I left Baltimore in August 2016 to move to the mile high city. Thom left Baltimore summer of 2017 to move to Hawaii. We have kept in contact, but have changed significantly since leaving our hometown. Thom has grown into a more hippie approach to his life. It was different than what I recall his lifestyle previously. At times it was challenging hosting him for the two weeks. All together though it was a fun time and an insightful learning experience to understand each other's new ways of life. During his time here, we went on many adventures throughout Colorado.We hiked Rocky Mountain National Park in 19 degree weather.
