It's a Long Island Story

To speak more what happened the real story of me going to Long Island for the end of December going into early January and celebrating New Years in NYC, I arrived in NYC via China bus it was weird because once I arrived immediately had to head over to the train station to head to Long Island around night time to arrive to Sam's house. I walked straight there and as I was walking it felt like a tunnel of wind pushing me being it was so cold. I arrived and took a 1 hour ride from the city to Ronkonkoma which obviously I've never step foot into LI so I felt like this could have only been an interesting experience for me. I arrived, it was dark and snowy I liked it though, I was carrying all my best clothes in a book bag I had brought being I'd be staying for a week or so. Sam picked me up we head straight to her parents she introduced me it was cool. I slept in the basement and she bought me a cardigan to replace the one I lost on my birthday two weeks before. I went to bed the next day she showed me around the town getting breakfast, she introduced me to a local running store that was amazing, and an Alkoline Water store that I found incredible as well. I spent a lot of time playing Madden 2013 with her Dad, snap-chatting with her and her friends, eating LI pizza, and sitting in the kitchen for some reason. It was odd but I loved it. We went on a freezing cold pier where the wood was channeled in by mainly ice, and find the "passion pit" a block over where people park there cars and do drugs and hook up I suppose. I was starring across from Fire Island which turns out to be an Island with no cars at all yet tons people live there they just walk around, later on we drive out so, so, so far out down LI to this abandoned boardwalk that the hurricane hit, and it was just too cold to go outside so we sat in the car and had the misty sun glare into my eyes in an empty parking lot facing the ocean. It was so bright I felt a nostalgic feeling like I've never felt before for a situation like that, all I really remember was giving Sam a ring that I found as a form of hey let's continue dating. We got out and walked this empty destroyed boardwalk it was incredible! Just being so empty, cold, and having a beaming sun glare. It looked a lot like a big castle in some old forgotten about sandy beach. Following that we went to NYC around 7pm to watch the ball drop it was so packed! It was hard moving around and it was confusing we just drank together some liquor in a tea bottle. We got a semi okay view, it wasn't great at all but we could see it, then we left headed back to her home and drank campaign with neighbors. I got drunk and felt disappointed I went to sleep in the basement the next day I woke up she had car troubles so we went to the auto shop to get it fixed they said it'd take weeks, so we left it there and hung out at her home. It was approaching the last day and things weren't working out for us. I knew I had to leave we argued so rough and sat out in the "passion pit" area and looked across to Fire Island I knew it was over, because I wanted it to be over. We went back to her house, hooked up in her room played Pandora to drain out the sounds. Her parents found out, so things couldn't of gotten anymore worse and awkward. Her and I took the train back to NYC went to a museum and she walked me to my bus and that was the last time we've ever seen each other.
