The Blood Bolt

As I put my two weeks in at a job I have been working at for 3 years now (Timeless). I continue to pursue my new job in Little Italy. I bounce my thoughts back and fourth with the clinical trials to preserve the idea of moving to California to continue my career in entertainment. Meanwhile I played a show (The Shaky Experience) at Bohemian coffee house in Charles Village this weekend in which I splattered my blood all over my guitar by slicing my knuckles in an attempt to continue playing without a pic. Excellent show, good friends, great turn out. I also relieved my record of my last best score run with the new results of 7.98 miles, 957.0 calories in an hour and five minutes. Which I feel is somewhat impressive. Other news is I find out Les Rhinoceros will be opening up for Lightning Bolt in DC which for whom doesn't know Les R.'s drummer use to drum for me. Weird interesting way to connect myself in media but true. Not much going on but i'll keep everyone posted with grand events and odd life stories soon.

Everything is unlikely without risk My top 10 favorite moments of 2024 1. Writing for 303 Magazine and interviewing Tycho while he was driving to Burning Man to play his annual set (surreal). Thanks to 303 for helping make this happen. 2. Playing Santa Fe (New Mexico) Portalsfest / releasing my latest album "Rated R Vacations" and being interviewed / having the album premiere in full on an NPR affiliate in NM, the night before the festival. 3. Taking the clipper from Seattle to Victoria, BC, partying there, and running a half marathon back in Seattle the next day w one of my best friends. Absolutely amazing time 4. 2023: The Greatest Year Of My Life

Live life right now. My 10 favorite moments of 2023 1. Interviewing AHJ of The Strokes, drinking his boutique style seltzers in the studio while the episode premiered on FM radio in NYC. Quotes from the interview were featured in a few major online publications including NME and Consequence Of Sound.  2. San Francisco for almost an entire month. Couchsurfing with a stranger that has become a good friend and going on a road / camping trip to Big Sur with someone I met in a hostel years prior. 3. Riot Fest Chicago. Being assigned to cover this music festival as press was amazing! I got to see so many great artists from The Postal Service, Foo Fighters, Death Grips, the list goes on and on. 4. Las Vegas friends wedding, running a half marathon in the desert at night time and placing 13/160 runners. Going to Death Valley National Park with the newly weds two days later. 5.
