Party Bloc.
During recent activity I've been up to a lot again. My cousin Andrew came to town this weekend after purchasing him and I tickets to see Bloc Party at Rams Head but before all that, I went to a skateboarding art gallery party with James, Adam, Hannah, and a few other friends it was sick. There was a half pipe, music, and beer everywhere. Afterwards we left and walked to Club Charles for more drinks which I got way to wasted due to all the drinks bought for us. I would later stumble down Charles street and not arrive back to my house till 4am. It was slightly terrible but still a really fun night. The next morning Andrew arrived as I was getting ready to prepare for my show at Charm City Art Space that night by me learning Thom (my drummer) his parts and having young Michael (Pablo) to play all my guitar parts. It took all day! The time had come so we all arrive to open for Arab Spring, Sea Patterns, Glow Kids, & A Troop Of Echo's. I set up my drums Mike got ready with his gator" a decently large crowd appeared and we played TSE hits only. We had sing along's to Fossils which is always a great feeling, then just when I think the set is going great we're playing Stroke It Alone and I drop the stick and use my finger on drums and POP there goes my finger gashing out blood, and broken. I continue with just my other hand then announce to everyone it's out of place! I get a good round of applause and decide to play one more song then head to the ER this time I would just sing Hey Danny, as Nick would fill in on drums, Mike on guitar.Immediately after I would leave to go get my finger checked out! I get X-Rays and it turns out it was dislocated so they painfully put it back into place for me and wrap me up and I gun it back to the show to finish watching everyone else then head to Bell Foundry to see Jon Burrier's latest band, and get drunk and play kick flat ball with Thom since he arrived back from Disney World. It was fun. The next day Andrew and I go running from Canton - the Inner Harbor and back, we watched football at Power Plant, then would go on to see Bloc Party with James which was incredible! They put on one of the best sets I've ever seen with 2 encores! It made it too good! After the show Andrew snatched their set list off stage and the 3 of us would head into Planit and drink and listen to more BP. Life has been cool #cats
