2015 The Beginning

Image
2015  Choices, life, life, life choices. I have been given a large variety of choices in life this year starting off. It's been interesting. I believe I am going in the best direction right now, till I make a new big life choice. I declined a job offer in New Orleans because the pay was to low, and so was the hours. It wasn't a realistic offer unfortunately. That was the start. I'm now continuing school to hopefully earn my degree or something... The cool news is: I've been setting up and hosting hostel shows which have been a ton of fun. I have been playing solo sets going under the name Pelvis Presley . I am hoping to record new songs and release an EP sometime this year. I did stand up comedy recently at The Crown. It was kool. I performed in front of a guy who is a producer for an Adult Swim show, so that was tight. I got a good laugh out of the crowd, my jokes mainly revolved around embarrassing doctor prescribed intoxication stories, sexua...

The Year Of Retirement And Travel

Image
The Year This year has been one big vacation for me. I really felt as if I was living the retired life. I got to do so much in only 12 months with the person I love right by my side. Some things this blog includes my time on tv such as The Price Is Right, The Today Show, Veep, and a phone call from MTV. I got to visit 20 states this year. I saved up more than 3 grand. I became CPR certified. I continued my 8th year of being a vegetarian, and I dated a girl I love for all of this year, this year has been an adventure Top 5 moments for me this year: 1. The airing of The Price Is Right episode 2. Making it to 1 year with my girlfriend 3. Lake Tahoe/San Fran trips 4. Burlington/Montreal trip 5. We Are Scientists show in Atlanta Work Ethics: Truthfully I barely worked and the little amount of work I did do this year brought me a long way. 1) I worked at HI - Baltimore for a solid 1 year. I worked the weekend overnight shifts then that became draining very quick so half way I sto...

Image
My birthday weekend! Hello readers! Thank you for coming back for yet another edition of my blog. This story is pretty damn cool mainly because it goes over what I did for my 25th birthday weekend. I went to NYC to go see Michael Cera's new play This Is Our Youth . My girlfriend and I bought our bus tickets, bought our play tickets and I got us comped for the stay at HI - NY . It was so exciting everything was falling right into place perfectly! We arrived where the huge Macy's is, where they have the Macies Day Parade. We walked around for a bit and made our way to the hostel where we checked in and got freshened up. We cleaned up and then headed out to go back down town to get ready for the play. We walked around time square and got $1 pizza which was nice! We walked over to the Christmas tree lighting at Rockefeller Center checked that out, as well as walk around the insides of NBC studios . This is the first time I came back in here since I got front row tickets t...

Last Minute Boston/Exeter trip

Image
Hello readers!!! I have had a crazy month, seriously wow. It's been nuts. I managed to lose my new job, girlfriend, and apartment within a week and yet make a killer come back and get two out of the three back which is nice. This doesn't need to be detailed really. I'm just happy to have some of the normal(ness) back in my life. The great news section is I have officially made it to two new states in America making my goal come closer to all 50. I've now been to 36 states! Wooo, and here is the story... I took a last minute trip to Boston, Kittery (Maine), Exeter (New Hampshire), Plymouth (MA), and Providence (Rhode Island). It was awesome! My friend Mike just bought a car and he wanted to visit some LA friends so we left Baltimore Thursday (11/13/14) as soon as I got out of class and hit the road. We drove through NYC. We stopped in Providence, RI for fast food Arby's dinner. We finally made it up to Plymouth and hung out with Mike's friend Bobby. We ...

I have a new apartment/Transmodern Stuff

Da News: Transmodern Festival Transmodern is one of the most incredible/amazing art and visual movement you can attend in Maryland. It's a week long full of art and different varieties of expression through galleries, warehouses, etc. It was a 7 day long event. My girlfriend and I attended it the first night which was a workshop on parade making, and music then we all dressed as the weirdest things imaginable with anywhere from 50-100 people walking down the streets of Baltimore. We made it to a gallery and watched some performance art. We attended the last day which was under a Rite Aid, in a rented out Police Department garage and it was the most insane shit ever. You get on an elevator and go down as soon as you get off there is a boy naked and sweating repeating himself that "You haven't lived till you experience life after the sun". Followed by that you walk in and the walls are made of see through curtains and you see a girl singing about Hell...
